We spent four days in the wonderful city about 30 minutes away from Amsterdam. If you have the time, I’d certainly recommend it as part of your travel plans. The city is so easy to get around; the canals and streets are full of interesting places and shops. There are plenty of eateries and lots of shops to spend your money. They even have a TK Maxx, which is the largest we’d seen, except when in Amsterdam to catch the Viking Cruiser.
It was relaxing and enjoyable even in the cold. The people were friendly. Most of the pathways are brick, so watch your footing. Bicycles are everywhere.
Certainly, I would give this place a 9 out of 10. Plenty of accommodation options, everything is so close.
