The last day was taken up with a long bus ride to a city and then many hours spent wandering around several Xmas markets. Lovely place with the finale was an organ recital in the local cathedral. Very impressive, the church has four (4) organs pipe sets all controlled from the one keyboard. The church was built in the 16th century, so has some history and designs.
Our final evening meal was with our new friend Christie and Anthony, and we joined a table with a couple from Melbourne. There seem to have been three groups from Melbourne. Back.
I suddenly felt unwell, as if I was having an asthma attack and needed to leave the room for a while to clear my breath back. I returned but found it a bit uncomfortable but as the room cleared, I found I could breathe easier.
The night was a bit rough, and the congestion was certainly getting worse. We went to the Basal Airport and after a bit of issues with security and border control (they are so slow) we boarded a very crowded flight for a three-hour trip to Istanbul. I was in an aisle seat with the guy next to me taking a lot of room in the centre. Then there was a crying screaming kid in front that just wanted to change from parent to parent. The service staff were a bit strange, they kept closing the front curtains, even if there were several people waiting to go to the front bathroom. Very strange.
