At last! It’s been nearly a year since our last little “outing” (pun unintended), and – brace yourselves – we’re about to hit the road (well, the river) once again! That’s right, this festive season, we’re heading to Europe for a Christmas Markets River cruise. Expect tales of sparkling cities, mulled wines and more strudels than strictly recommended by my endocrinologist.
We’re looking forward to oversharing every awkward moment, odd snacks, and scenic wonder with friends and family who are kindly pretending to be interested. However, this time, we are looking at shaking things up with our travel updates – perhaps a photo of us “dressing” nude à la Bianca Censori? A new soon-to-be viral dance move perhaps? Nah, stick to posting more of my usual food shots

To add even more sugar, spice and all things nice, I’m tossing aside the trusty iPhone for a small travel camera. Mind you the phone does a solid job for quick snaps, but every time I tried fiddling with all those screen settings and tiny buttons, it felt like my fingers transformed into sentient fettuccine. “All thumbs” isn’t just an expression; it was a poor lifestyle choice. So, for the preservation of my sanity (and your eyeballs), we’re giving the dedicated travel camera another shot!

Any advice from anyone with Photoshop techniques to add an actual hairline before my next post will be greatly appreciated.
