To be honest, it was a hard day; the body was not in tune with the timing, and I personally struggled to get through the day. However, our hotel is inside a large shopping complex adjacent to the Central Station in Utrecht. It’s much bigger than Chadstone, Highpoint, or other centres we have in Australia, or at least it feels like it. It was also very crowded, though you could move around.
We started off late in the morning and decided to have some brunch. We headed down to the local canal area, which makes up most of the inner-city area. I found a place called TIJM, recommended for their food and coffee. So, we walked down the lanes and followed the canal, about 10 minutes away, and visited the place for a meal.
